If I am allergic to Revolax lip fillers can I try other brands?

Hi Doctors, I had to dissolve my fillers as I had some sort of a delayed reaction. I had Revolax in my lips. Reaction happened after 8 days of my injections. My filler broke down into lumps, they were quite painful and I had bad itchiness around my lips and my eyes. The doctor assumed it was an allergic reaction to product. I really want lip fillers! Do you think I can try different brands? Or will I react to them too? Dissolving was very painful and I would not want to go through it again.

Thank you for your question.I do not think lip filler will make that much of a difference for you.  It is not going to increase projection of the lip that much, it will only plump the lip.

Lip fillers of different companies can be injected with overlap. However there are some concerns when fillers with high degree of crossing get mixed which are believed to have a higher risk of leading to later complications such as nodule formation.
