I'm getting myself booked in for rhinoplasty at a clinic in Turkey and would like tear trough fillers too. Am I best to do this prior or after the nose job? Or can I do them in the same session? The clinic says they can do both, but I wanted to get a second opinion, in case the swelling of the rhinoplasty affects the fillers or vise versa.
Answer: Tear Trough Filler with Rhinoplasty In some cases, filler can be done at the same time you undergo rhinoplasty. This allows you to achieve your full cosmetic goal faster and with less discomfort than if you have these two treatments separately. If you do rhinoplasty first, you will need to give yourself plenty of time to heal completely before getting the dermal filler, as post-operative swelling can make it difficult for your surgeon to place the filler correctly. Make sure you are working with a surgeon who is both board certified and highly experienced at these procedures. This will ensure the treatment plan you receive will work best for you.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello, Thank you for your question. Rhinoplasty and tear canal filler are possible in one procedure. There is swelling around the eyes after rhinoplasty but after swelling disappearance you will see the result. Be sure of the surgeon’s experience. Best of luck and take care! Answer: Tear trough My personal recommendation would be to avoid the tear trough filler altogether. The tear trough as far as I am concerned doesn’t really exist anyway. Concentrate on getting a nice result from the rhinoplasty and put the tear trough issue on the back burner, or even better, forget about it altogether.

Answer: Tear trough fillers and rhinoplasty timing Swelling after rhinoplasty will definitely affect the ability to judge how much filler to use around the eyes. Rhinoplasty can produce meaningful swelling for six to twelve weeks post op in the tear troughs, so you'd have to wait at least that long if you did the rhinoplasty first. On the other hand, doing the filler a week BEFORE the rhinoplasty would probably be perfectly fine since the filler produces only mild, short-lived swelling. Answer: Can I get rhinoplasty and tear trough fillers in the same session or at least same week? Or will one affect the other? Hello and thank you for your question. There will be significant swelling in the lid-cheek junction after rhinoplasty and so you won't be able to have the filler in the early post op period. Talk to your surgeon regarding your options.
