Would liposuction on my waist help me achieve an hourglass shape? (photo)

Question

I've always had quite a blocky abdomen, and since I'm planning to go into surgery to get a breast augmentation, I was wondering if at the same time I could remove some fat from the sides of my waist to give me the illusion of having some hips? Could I be a candidate for this? Or am a too lean for this to achieve anything worthwhile? Thanks

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you have extra fat on your flanks, then you might be a candidate for liposuction. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Thank you for your question. You appear to be very thin, with a flat abdomen and a small amount of fat in your flanks and hips. You can have liposuction to your flanks, but it may not achieve the results that you desire.

Based on the photo provided it doesn't appear there is much excess fat to remove to create more of an hourglass figure.  An in person evaluation is needed for the best recommendation.  Speak with your surgeon about your interest in liposuction.
