Should I get cheekbone implants or infraorbital-rim/tear-trough implants? (Photo)

Question

I have rather prominent eyes with huge eyebags so I'm seeking permanent cosmetic solutions to them. But I am not sure what implants I should get.

Often patients feel they have hollow lower eyes when in reality it's their midface or malar cheeks that are flatter. If you have volume under the eyes, then placing malar cheek or combination cheek implants can be a better solution than infraorbital or tear trough implants. It creates a smoother transition. I typically do not place tear trough implants until the midface is addressed first. Otherwise, it can make your under eyes look even puffier.
