I recommend avoiding ibuprofen because it may make bruising worse. Tylenol can be used for any post-treatment tenderness. It takes 1-2 weeks for final results. Hope this helps.
Regardless of product, lip filler is notorious for bruising and swelling. To minimize downtime, we do recommend patients avoid certain herbs/medications that can cause bleeding and worsen bruising. Ibuprofen prior to treatment will thin the blood and create more significant bruising. Following lip injections, Ibuprofen can still thin the blood and make an existing bruise worse. We generally recommend avoiding all NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, etc.), alcohol, fish oil, vitamin E, garlic, and other herbs/medications that can increase bleeding.
Hi there, To decrease chances of bruising or decrease the length of an existing bruise, avoid ibuprofen. Also supplements like fish oil as well as medications that contain aspirin can increase chances of bruising. Tylenol is ok to take for tenderness post dermal fillers. Also staying hydrated 5-7 glasses of water a day will help keep swelling down. Hope this helps, Asia Hankins RN

I would still try massaging, you might be surprised that the lumps will just gradually lessen over time. You can always get them dissolved, but I would give it so me time unless you are really bothered. They are barely visible on the photos.
Blindness after hyaluronic acid injections such as Juvederm has been reported in some literature, however this occurs very rarely. With so many months having passed since the injections, any vision-related problems are most likely unrelated to the fillers.
