Left eyelid has suddenly started to sit differently on my face and makes my eyes asymmetrical.

Question

Is there any treatment that can fix this? I have no nerve/ motor issues, do it wear glasses and have no allergies. The only thing I can think of that caused this is using GrandeLash MD eyelash serum. Are there any procedures that could correct this eyelid asymmetry?! It makes me look tired and drunk and I'm very insecure about it.

There are many different causes for facial/eyelid asymmetry. If your change was in fact quite sudden, there are some neurological problems that need to be ruled out. How do you know for sure that you don't have "nerve/motor issues"? I would recommend seeing an oculoplastics surgeon or a neuroophthalmologist to get a proper evaluation for this sudden change in one eyelid.Best wishesAJ Amadi

You need provide photos for any accurate response. The problem could be number of things such as eyelid ptosis, holloweness, etc. See following video for causes of eye asymmetry. See an oculoplastic specialist. Skype consult available.

You should consider an evaluation by a doctor specializing in eyelid surgery (oculoplastic surgeon). There are a small number of conditions that can seemingly abruptly cause an eyelid to be too far open, or become droopy. If you used the eyelid serum on both eyes, it is doubtful the serum caused the problem.
