I was expecting more like a full milk jog amount of fat to be removed from my entire body but only 800ccs of pure fat was removed and how many pounds is this please help O and this is 4 hours after surgery seen in the pictures please please help thank you
Answer: Enough lipo It is way too early to judge the results of your liposuction. 800cc of pure fat is not a minimal amount by any means! You will notice improvements over the next two to three months and you won't see the final results until then. You should not weigh yourself for at least a month as your body is full of fluid at this point and will be spending much time and energy in the healing process. But also remember, you had the fat removed and then grafted so your weight likely won't change very much. Hopefully you chose a Dr. you trust and have faith in their skill and results.

Answer: Will take time You have been through a significant procedure. 800 cc of fat is just under two pounds.Your weight will vary during the recovery due to water and edema that the body uses for healing.

Answer: Liposuction expectations Thank you for your question. 800cc of true fat aspirated during liposuction is a significant amount. You will notice a difference without a doubt, but it takes a solid 3 months to get there, and even more than that for the skin to redrape itself. Fat does not weigh very much, so don't think of it in those terms. Liposuction is about change the shape and contour. You will weigh MORE on a scale for awhile because of the swelling! Follow your surgeon's instructions, and I'm sure you will be happy. Best wishes.

Answer: How much fat can be removed Let me preface this by saying I am one of very few plastic surgeons who is focused exclusively on body contouring using various forms of liposuction and fat transfer only. These two procedures represent 99% of all the surgical procedures I perform. It would not be appropriate for any plastic surgeon to comment or give a specific numbers.Based on your pictures it appears that you were not necessarily a great candidate for liposuction. My guess is you've had some weight loss or previous pregnancies with or without weight-loss.I have had times where I can remove 5 L of fat from patients 160 pounds while I've had patients heavier than that that I can barely remove one liter from.fat distribution is a much more important predictor then his weight.people would stretch marks can have fat that it's more challenging to remove. This is especially true for weight-loss patients with stretch marks and skin laxity.in your case weight loss may be a much better option followed by a possible abdominoplasty. And in person examination is always needed to make an accurate assessment.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
