Is it reasonable and possible that a board certified doc, specializing in breast augmentation for 20-30 yrs, can do a surgery in about 30 mins? And still get amazing results? What's the normal timeframe for just implants, no lift? I believe another doctor said his was a 45 min surg so I just need to know if this is common in doctors who are highly trained/accredited & with many yrs experience? Are the outcomes good? If you are an overall healthy individual and don't have constricted breast tissue, it is totally possible to do a breast augmentation in 30-45 minutes with that amount of experience. Answer: Breast augmentation Most surgeons who perform this surgery routinely can efficiently do the procedure on an uncomplicated case in less than one hour. More important than time is the result so taking a bit longer is not a negative.

Surgery time will vary from physician to physician, and the time it takes for the surgery has no correlation to how "happy" patients are after their procedure. It is reasonable that it may only take your surgeon 30 minutes to do a breast augmentation. Most importantly, be sure you are going to a board certified plastic surgeon.
