It is hard to be patient.  We accept that a cut on the arm takes many months, even up to a year or more to fully heal.  It is the same for eyelid surgery but for some reason we expect everything to be perfect in 2 weeks.  The redness will dissipate but this will take many months to fully resolve.

I usually counsel my surgical patients that it can take 3 months for the redness of a facial scar to even begin to fade. Eyelid incision do usually heal a little faster because the skin is so thin, but you are still very early at three weeks postoperative.  Try to be patient and wait and know that most of the time even asymmetries that seem large in the beginning typically fade to unnoticeable in the long run.  Good luck!

Your creases do look a little uneven, but you are still early in the healing phase.  Often a scar can look uneven, but as it heals, it fades and with the eyes open you will never notice it.
