Hi I’m half black and would like to my the tip of my nose smaller and most of the African nose job look really bad to me, so idk, like my bridge is fine I just want the tip smaller and more defined

Hi, thanks for your question. In order to make you nasal tip more refined and narrow you would need to have a surgical nose job that focuses on the nasal tip. The bridge of your nose does not need to be changed. To narrow the width of your nose you would need an alarplasty to bring in the nostrils. I recommend a consultation with a qualified and experienced facial plastic surgeon to discuss the best options for your specific case. Best of luck!

It's possible to make your tip smaller and more defined while maintaining balance to your face, though as you mentioned it's important that you like the before and afters of any surgeon you are considering. Unless you see examples of other patients with similar anatomy to yours, with afters showing the results you are looking for, then the surgeon may not have the experience to deliver the best results for you. Based on your photos, tip refinement + alar base reduction would create a nice change.

Based on your photos, you appear to have somewhat of a broad flat nasal appearance with a white tip and flaring nostrils. Your nasal tip appearance looks a bit droopy on profile as well. The procedure that will be performed on you will not be a nose procedure that we would call ethnic. It is considered only thick-skinned. As you have noticed, since you do not have an arched nose, it will be possible to achieve a very beautiful appearance by only intervening in the tip of the nose and skin thickness.
