No matter how lean I get, I have always had a distinct "B-shaped" belly with a noticeable indentation/crease right across the middle (around the belly button area) and what I believe to be some fat pockets. For context, I am currently 5’2” and 50 kg (110 lbs). I have a slim build overall, and my weight is stable, but this specific shape persists. I have a few specific questions: 1. Can liposuction actually smooth out this specific "B-shape” and achieve a flat, smooth contour here? 2. How does this affect long-term fat distribution? If I were to gain weight in the future, would my body still deposit fat back into this distinct B-shape, or would the weight gain be more evenly/smoothly distributed in the treated area 3. What is a realistic expectation for fat removal at my size?

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a liposuction. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape. Liposuction only removes fat. If you have excess fat then liposuction can improve the area. If there is another underlying cause such as a hernia or weak abdominal wall then that will not be helped by liposuction. You will need to have a physical examination to determine how much of the projection is fat.

In the photos, you are already quite slim, and the main feature appears to be a natural horizontal crease or tethering around the belly button area, with only a small amount of surrounding fat. Liposuction can reduce pinchable fat and may soften the fullness above and below the crease, but it does not directly release a deep skin fold, fascial attachment, or natural indentation. For that reason, it may improve the contour, but it may not make the abdomen completely flat and smooth.

The long-term result depends on what is creating the B-shape. If the issue is mainly localized fat, careful conservative liposuction can be helpful and the fat reduction is usually long lasting if your weight stays stable. If the shape is mostly from skin quality, a crease, scar-like tethering, abdominal wall shape, or muscle tone, liposuction alone may leave the indentation visible and could even make it more noticeable if too much fat is removed.

Because your frame is small, the margin for error is also smaller. Over-aggressive lipo in a thin abdomen can create waviness, dents, or contour irregularities.
