I am 12 days post op and have been wearing my plastic surgeon’s recommended recovery bra + breast band everyday. Every time my hubby and I look at my new breasts, the upper pole looks flat and square but the lower pole looks so nice and full! Pls see photos. I wanted an all around roundness and i toldmy PS I wanted to be a full D. I was a 33C prior. Now, I wear arecovery sports bra size 34 D. So my question is how is my upper pole looking so flat? Am I eventually going to round out all over?

Answer: Breast aug Thank you for your question. You are in the very early stages of the healing process. Breast implants can take 6-8 months to settle and get to their final results . I would recommend holding off a little bit and let the implants settle down more. Address any concerns you may have with your surgeon. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Flat Upper Pole Hello and Great Question. I appreciate the time you are spending researching this procedure. My name is Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel. I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, a Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon, and a Cosmetic Breast Augmentation Specialist. You have beautiful results. You are still very early in the post-op phase. Healing, swelling and breast settling will take any where between three to six months to get close to their final appearance. I would say to give it time. I hope that helps! Best of Luck! Matthew J. Nykiel, MD #CoreAesthetic Breast Augmentation Specialist Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
