Hi, a few days ago I was diagnosed with gastritis. It’s so uncomfortable physically and mental health wise to have this issue. It’s been a week that I been struggling with this. I am having a breast augmentation on October 22nd. Can I still go through with my surgery with gastritis?

Answer: Dealing with Medical Issue While Planning Cosmetic Surgery Jasmin. Gastritis is a fairly common condition usually easily treated with medications. However any previous medical condition should be under significant control prior to undergoing any elective cosmetic procedure. Your plastic surgeon should discuss your case with your gastroenterologist and if necessary postponement of your breast augmentation should be considered. Your health and safety is always the primary concern.
