Rhinoplasty question: Can I possibly attain this Kim Kardashian nose? Size and shape-wise?

I have a consultation with Dr. Khorsandi here in Las Vegas and I'm going to be showing him these images because this would be the ideal nose if I can achieve it. Of course, I know it may not be a realistic expectation but this is why I am asking you, the professionals. I have a bulbous tip and my nose is deviated, meaning I will be wanting a Septo/Rhinoplasty at the same time. Thank you for your time!

Patients often come to their initial consultation
appointment with images of noses they’d like to replicate. This can actually be
a very helpful for communication purposes. It is very important for you and your surgeon to be on the same
page throughout the entire process, so showing them what you want in your new
nose will guide them to create a similar nose that fits in more closely with
your facial structure and features. But it is impossible to give patients another person's nose as there are many features specific to that person. Though your nose after surgery may be drafted
after that of Kim Kardashian’s, a good rhinoplasty surgeon will personalize
your procedure and cater to your specific appearance to obtain the most
natural-looking results.

Thank you for your question.  Yes, it is certainly possible to change your nose so that it has more of the characteristics of Kim Kardashian's.  You seem to already understand that it is not reasonable to expect that you will have her exact nose and that no two noses or faces are the same.  Its also worth noting that Ms. Kardashian uses make-up on her nose for all her photos that changes the shape in photos very significantly.  There are several videos showing the process that makes her nose appear narrower and much more defined than it is without makeup.  Good luck with your transformation!

Dear amarie18The changes you have made in the digital simulations appear very achievable surgically. You can have a narrower dorsum and tip and a more refined look to your nose.  Take your time and go on more than one consultation. Look for an experienced surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic (or facial) Surgery. Share your goals from the procedure and make a well informed decision.

Pictures will help your plastic surgeon understand your expectations and desired outcome. Replicating a celebrity’s nose is a common request for many rhinoplasty patients. However you should keep in mind that each facial structure is different, therefore a nose shape that looks good on a celebrity may not compliment you. I do recommend bringing a picture of a nose you like to a specialist facial plastic surgeon. Communication is key and pictures are an excellent reference. It is important that you and your surgeon are on the same page. Keep in mind that you may not get the exact nose shape you want depending on your unique facial structure. Pictures are helpful so that your plastic surgeon has an idea of what you are looking to do regarding rhinoplasty. However, having realistic expectations is very important. Thinning and refining the nose are possible. While your nose may not look exactly like Kim K's, you could have a great result that should compliment your face.

Rather than trying to get the nose of a celebrity, try and search out the best possibility for your nose and face. Just because the nose looks good on one person, does not mean that it will look good on another face. It's impossible to give someone else's nose to another patient, however there are refinements to the existing nose that can be accomplished. The nose can be straightened, the bridge narrowed and the bulbous tip reduced. To reduce the bulbous tip requires suture techniques and a conservative cartilage removal applied to the lower lateral cartilages of the nasal tip.  The computer images do appear realistic. Look for a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon for best results, since rhinoplasty is the  hardest operation to perform in the entire field of cosmetic surgery.

The pictures you have morphed are definitely reproducible and reasonable. You should be able to achieve a more narrow and defined nasal tip and address the deviation at the same time. However, reproducing exactly a Kim Kardashian nose is unrealistic
