Can you have Emsculpt and CoolSculpting in the same session?

Thank you for your question.  Although it is difficult to recommend a procedure without a pre-procedure photograph, my advice is that CoolSculpting is a great procedure for subcutaneous fat reduction.  Emsculpt is known for tightening.  Best of luck.

Hello, Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting and EmSculpt should not be done at the same time. They can be done one after the other but not in the same area. You may still need to address the love handles with CoolSculpting but you can wait until you see EmSculpt results to decide. Good luck! 

I personally think that EMSculpt and Coolsculpt compliment each other extremely well. Coolsculpt can reduce the amount of fat under the skin of the love handles, flanks and back, while EMSculpt can not only tone the abdominal muscles but also decrease the midline fat. There's no reason you can't have one treatment followed by the other on the same day. I highly recommend seeing someone with extensive experience for the Coolsculpting (and EMSculpt) since you just end up getting a better result from someone with experience.Andrew Campbell, M.D.

For best results, I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening in the same treatment as Coolsculpting. Z wave/Cellutone can be used for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hello there! The Emsculpt will address all of the abdominal muscles, which will lead to toning and sculpting of the upper and lower ab and the obliques. By targeting all of these areas, you should see a subtle improvement in the love handle area. Emsculpt reduces up to 19% fat in the area treated, but Coolsculpting can reduce a much higher percentage if two treatments are performed. For the best result I would recommend treating the love handles with Coolsculpting (2 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart), and Emsculpt the abs (4 treatments 2-3 days apart). These two procedures might be an excellent combination based on what you described. Cool sculpting would be best to treat the love handles and Emsculpt can help to tighten your core as well as reduce some of the subcutaneous fat. There is really no reason why this couldn’t be performed in the same setting but you should understand that you will have repeated treatments with the Emsculpt. It is also possible that you might need to do multiple treatments with Coolsculpt and for the best results.

Emsculpt is currently used on the abdominal area and buttocks. I have had a full course of abdominal treatment and have excellent results! Coolsculpting (had that too!) can be used in multiple areas depending on applicator and amount of fat. You could do emsculpt in the abdominal area and coolsculpting of flanks same day but would not do both in the abdominal area same day
