Will my chin implant drastically effect the way my face looks from the front? (Photo)

Most of the time, the change in your face from front view does not alter much after a chin implant. However, there will be a difference. If you are feeling uncomfortable or wary about your upcoming procedure, feel free to give your facial plastic surgeon a call. They could generate a digital photo for you that would give you a better idea of your results from all angles. I hope this helps.

Many patients do not see much change in the frontal view after a chin implant UNLESS they are looking for a change in the frontal view. In this case, a different type of implant is used to address their concerns. Some patients want a more square frontal presentation. Others, want to fill out the hollow below the corner of the mouth.  In our practice we do perform extended anatomical silicone implants frequently, but usually size small or medium.
