I currently have 700cc implants and I'm looking to upsize to 1100-1200 range. I have saline under the muscle and I have a pretty wide frame. Im 140lbs, 5'5". I weightlift regularly and keep active as well. What should I expect from this surgery and does this seem reasonable?

Answer: Larger implants Thank you for your question. It is generally my feeling that bigger implants yield bigger problems. Particularly saline implants that are overfilled. It may interest you to know that the FDA is currently investigating larger silicone gel implants (up to 1445 cc). They currently are only available for breast reconstruction through the study, but at some point in the future, they may be available for cosmetic augmentation patients as well. I would still discourage you from going that large, but if you sincerely wish to do so, consider waiting until the larger silicone implants are available. Good luck.
