Have had 550cc high profile implants for 2 and a half years and knew early on that I had made a huge mistake, over this time my skin seems to have stretched more and the heavy implants are now also looking on the saggy side. I am 24 never had children and my boobs prior to implants were a small perky B cup perfectly fine (should have left them alone) this whole thing has affected me mentally and pyscically I am praying there is an answer to this mistake, I really don't want a lift. :( help
Answer: Can I downsize without a lift from 550cc to 350cc or smaller? I am sorry to hear about your concerns after breast augmentation surgery. Despite good intentions, online consultants will not be able to help you when it comes to specific advice: for example, whether or not 350 cc breast implants are the appropriate breast implant size to achieve YOUR aesthetic goals.Having said that, I think that you can downsize significantly without the need for breast lifting. As you may know, adjustment of the breast implant pockets (capsule adjustments) may be necessary to achieve the outcome you are looking for. Whether or not the adjustment of the breast implant capsules will be necessary will mainly be dependent on your physical examination; specifically, factors such as the amount of redundant skin, quality of skin elasticity, and how much you downsize will be important. I often make final determinations of the breast implant size/profile, after utilizing temporary sizers during surgery. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary (downsizing) breast augmentation surgery is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. ***Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "down one or two cup sizes” or "C or D cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your chosen plastic surgeon to work with you in determining the best plan to achieve your goals. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to revisionary breast surgery, specifically downsizing breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Lateral Displacement / Internal Bra Repair Good morning! You have a super wide gap as a result of lateral displacement. Not sure where your incision was but this is commonly seen with transaxillary augmentations. This gives your breasts a really awkward appearance in addition to your feeling that they are too large. You can absolutely get this fixed as well as downsize. My approach is as follows: 1) nipple incision 2) Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique which corrects your lateral displacement, narrows the gap, and provides excellent long term support for your new implants 3) implant exchange for smaller I have attached a link to my Internal Bra / Breast Augmentation Revision gallery for your review- hope it helps!

Answer: Exchange You might do well with internal lifting and exchanging for smaller implants. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing your options. Also, tightening with ThermiTight can also help tighten the tissue without large scars. It can be done at the same time as the exchange.

Answer: Exchange Since you are not happy with your implant size, have them removed and replaced with smaller ones. Heal from the surgery before deciding if a lift is needed. The lift can always be done at a later time.
