Why do the back of my teeth feel so grainy after Veneers?

I made the terrible decision to get Veneers. When I lick my front teeth where the porcelain is, it feels completely smooth as it should. But when I lick the back of my teeth, it feels so grainy in texture. Do they file down the back of your teeth as well? Because mine do not feel the same anymore! I hate it. It doesn't feel smooth like teeth normally should - I can still feel my filed down tooth. Is there any way to address this?
