it is very unlikely that you can only do two implants to secure a denture, angled implants around the nerve/sinus are almost always an option on the top or bottom

I have an appointment scheduled to do my extraction and place two implants but I am wondering because I don’t have enough bone. I can only do two implants on one side of my mouth. Is it even worth getting will it secure my denture because they can’t be spaced apart.

if you do not want veneers you for sure can get away with very conservative bonding that will match the existing teeth. that is what i would do for my teeth

I chipped my front tooth on a coffee mug and was told by one dentist I would need at least three to four front teeth veneers. A second dentist did bonding but it only last a few months then chipped, twice. Is is worth ti to get another dentist's opinion for bonding or am I stuck getting veneers? I am hesitant to lose so much of my real teeth. I am a 49 year old female.

Your teeth were beautiful before and a quick 4 -6 month Invisalign would have corrected that easily, these veneers are beyond contouring and do not look esthetically pleasing at all, and just have to hope they didn't destroy too much tooth structure

So I did a stupid thing. I had emax veneers placed in Colombia and I have been absolutely broken about them. The color is fine but the shape is squared off and jokerish. I placed them originally to close off a slightly open bite and white my teeth. I am wondering if it’s possible to round off the teeth and possible make the lateral incisors slightly shorter. I am willing to risk a small Amt of visible open bite to avoid looking so creepy. Is it possible to reshape/ round off the veneers?

Midline shift is not possible without orthodontics/ surgery but most people down notice a midline thats off unless it is not perpendicular to the pupils. the issue i see is the size/ shape and contour of the teeth... the laterals are way too bid and bulky and are more dominant that the canines, tooth 8 is wider than 9, and if you have crowns in the posteior addressing the cant is easy with crowns and veneers. everything looks very monoplane too...

Had braces to correct an overbite, my teeth are pointing inwards at the bottom, slanted to one side and one side the teeth are higher on the other lower. Venners were promised to fix it but the dr just superposed them instead of doing any other work. Can gum countering raise the teeth on one side to make it look even with face? Can it also be done at the bottom to lower the teeth (they cannot be raised on the lower part due to lack of space) Can the midline be shifted? Were crowns a beter choic

it is fractured on the mesial/ or middle aspect of the tooth. The one issue of waiting and seeing is the extent of the fracture and amount of bone loss that can continue. This is a pretty difficult case as is to achieve an esthetic outcome, depending on your smile line, This will probably involve lots of grafting and if the adjacent teeth are already veneers a 3 unit bridge could be a better implant ( one of the few times i would ever say that )

My front tooth broke and had a post and crown done on it. Another dentist had recommended an implant on that tooth because he says I have a crack and was at risk of losing it at anytime. I had veneers done and it messed up my bite. I am planning on redoing my veneers. My question is do I really need the implant now or can I just wait until the crown stops functioning? If I were to change my veneers, would that affect that crack? Your help is really appreciated.

The result is a good result for address 4 teeth, they fit natural together, but i think what you are seeing is the 4 teeth dominant relative to the rest of your smile. It seems you are very narrow and constricted in the upper arch and your canines or "i teeth) are suppose to be dominant they are too long and not protrusive enough and the premolars behind it are not existent in your smile. A full smile makeover with addressing the existing teeth would give you more the result you are looking for. That is how i would have approached this case

I have 1 implant and 3 crowns. And I hate the gum line on the crowns, I feel it looks so fake. I want to replace them but I want to make sure I explain what I want, as to not have to do this again. I also think they are bulky.I went for a consult and the guy said what I have is actually a good job. And to not mess with it. I want them to be less masculine and appear as they are real especially at the gum line.

This is more of a traditional luting approach for a full arch case.. i would not wait 6 months but more like 8 weeks or s and have a new 3d printed temporary denture, the way you bite will only cause issues for 6 months and this is not acceptable at all. The biggest issue is the esthetics of the implant placement in your smile/ esthetic zone, there will be no way to hide the implants/ metal/ transitional line. This seems poorly planned and executed and in need of serious revision for a good outcome, maybe more of an FP1/ natural prosthetic should be planned.

I am 72 year old, caucasian woman. I had all my teeth removed in august and 5 implants on the upper and 5 on the lower, and upper and lower temporaries attached. The temporaries are asymmetrical, the centers are not aligned, the arches are protruding up to 1/2 cm away from my gums, there are bulky parts on my floor and on my palate making it difficult to talk, I only touch one or two points, my smile is crooked. The dentist does not consider correcting anything before the wax try in after 6 month.

I am not sure of the material of your permanent crown as it is cement retained but looks like composite or resin material ( the air bubbles on the occlusal and mesial aspect, which is usually temporary) I can see the cement line, but the contour on the mesial aspect could be widened to close the embrasure space and there should be a tunnel design that extendsto the furcation (between the roots) to keep it clensible and prevent plaque formation

I am noticing a large gap between the crown and gum, but am not sure if that is to be expected or can be improved aesthetically. This tooth had a crown lengthening procedure done, which I am unsure was the right decision. There was a biologic width violation with the prior crown (see x-ray), but wonder if there was a more conservative "watch and wait" approach.

Unfortunately you will need a new prosthesis on the implants. With the advent of technology you could get a same day 3d printed copy of your current upper hybrid and that is copied for the final made of zirconia or similar materials

All on 4 upper cracked. I had the procedure 10 years ago. What can I do?

A few issues i notice the two middle teeth are angled and do not look straight the two middle teeth are shorter than the lateral teeth next to it( not supposed to be the case) the teeth are over contoured/too thick there is no contours on the teeth, they are very opaque and monochromatic, no gradients, tranlucencu

I have had my top 8 crowns done 3 times and I still hate them. The dentist told me this is the best he is going to get them. I cant pinpoint exactly what's wrong with them but I feel like they look like dentures in my mouth when I talk
