Will Veneers help me achieve a wider smile with more teeth visibility? (photo)

I have a very narrow smile that shows mostly my bottom teeth only. Wondering if veneers can help me achieve the attractive wide smile? At the same time I also want to change the colour and shape of my teeth that is why I thought of veneers instead of aligners
