I have a large tubercle (upper lip) and after a Botox lip flip and filler, my top lip looks like a shelf! Can it be fixed? Help! 1 syringe of Volbella and 4 units Botox to “flip” on board
Answer: Fixing lip injections Thank you for your question. There are 2 ways to work around lip fillers. One is to dissolve them and the other is to work around them and help them blend more elegantly into the perioral region. In your case blending the white upper lip transition to the pink would likely be very successful. This needs to be done by someone with a tremendous amount experience injecting. Best of luck.

Answer: Lip injections Hi. The initial swelling will subside within 2 weeks. If you are still concerned with the look, a follow up appointment with your injector is recommended. Hyaluronidase can easily dissolve excess fillers.

Answer: Lip looking to raised like a shelf after botox and filler might be helped with dissolving filler You should see the doctor who injected you to determine which caused the unsatisfactory result with which you're unhappy. Is it the Botox or the filler. If your doctor feels it was the filler then it can be dissolved with an enzyme, hyaluronidase. If it is the Botox, then nothing but time will help. In three months to four, the latest, the Botox effect will be gone. The information provided in Dr. Shelton's answer is for educational purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical advice.
