I had an umbilical hernia surgery, lipo and tummy tuck. It's been 8 weeks using it on the regular day, I take it off to sleep. I can't wait to start working out, but I'm scared my hernia can come back.

Answer: Post op care Since every surgeon has his or her own post op protocol, this question will best be answered by him or her. Having said that, at 8 weeks, you should be fine to stop wearing your garment and to start exercising again. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Answer: Activity after TT with hernia repair After 8 weeks you can return to working out without restrictions. The binder or compression belt can be discontinued as well. Congratulations on your surgery!

Answer: Compression Belt & Activity level after surgery Thank you for your question and Congratulations!!! I usually tell my patients to wear the compression garment for the first 6 weeks post surgery at all time and the next 2 weeks only at night time. At 8 weeks

At 6 weeks post-surgery you may go back to normal activities with no restriction. Start slow and work you way up to where you were before surgery. It would be best to check with you own Plastic Surgeon as each has their own protocol. They should be able to guide you and answer all of your specific questions.
