Today to track record of dissolution of fat by way of injections also referred to as mesotherapy has been dismal. Perhaps this will improve in the future but you should be very wary of removal of fat by these techniques.
Lipo lean are injections to help decrease fat. The only FDA approved medication for this is Kybella to the neck/sub mental area. See a body shaping specialist if you are concerned about your body fat. Best, Dr. Emer.
There are productsand procedures in the market today, such as lasers, which promise results withlittle to no “downtime.” Our practice doesnot recommend these options to patients seeking a noticeable and long lastingresult. Tumescent or “traditional” liposuction is the gold standard of fatremoval and has scientifically proven long-term results. The more surgery performedthe more result you will see. In most cases, when patients seek treatment witha board-certified plastic surgeon this is something you will discuss at yourconsultation. Please keep in mind, we do not recommend liposuction to ourpatients as a weight loss tool, but rather a procedure to contour and sculpttargeted areas. Good luck, Dr. Brian Coan
LipoLean appears to be an OTC supplement that makes claims about fat metabolism. Supplements are poorly regulated by the FDA and it is wise to proceed with caution. Only take supplements made by reputable companies who can provide peer-reviewed studies showing a benefit, and most importantly safety.
