Am I a candidate for a breast reduction?

I perform a liposuction breast lift that removes tissue from the areas you don't want such as near the armpit and the lower portion hanging near your stomach. Once I use this to shape the breast I then remove the skin to tighten the breast and create a better shape with nice cleavage. Since I perform this less invasively the recovery time is faster. The size would depend on the proportion with your body versus going for a cup size. It works very well if there are asymmetries. I can also use the removed fat as a natural breast augmentation by grafting the fat back into the breast to create more projection or into the top to create more cleavage. This procedure can also be combined with an implant if needed or wanted.  It should not affect nipple sensation, mammograms, cancer risk or breast-feeding. If you gain or lose weight, the transferred fat can do the same.

The most common thing my breast reductions patients tell me after their operation is that they wish they wouldn't have waited so long to have it performed!Judging by your photos, you would definitely benefit from a breast reduction. Incidentally, I have not had a single patient regret having a breast reduction. Your discomfort will be greatly improved, and you'll be able to exercise more easily as well. Definitely meet with a board certified plastic surgeon to be evaluated. Best of luck to you!

In regards to your friends and family, I will say with all due respect, that they are not the ones who are having to carry around such large breasts and deal with the discomfort, so they are not the ones who should be making the decision about breast reduction surgery. Patients who pursue breast reduction surgery for the right reasons are usually very happy with the outcomes and very few, if any, regret having the procedure. You should schedule a consultation with a local board certified plastic surgeon to have an exam and discuss the procedure in detail. You can also discuss with this person whether or not insurance would help in paying for such a procedure.Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question and the photos.If you are feeling discomfort and are in constant pain then it would be advisable to get something done about at as it could get worse.Remember that you chose to have surgery for yourself and your family and friends cannot feel the discomfort you are suffering. I think it would be a good idea for you to have a consultation to discuss the procedure then you can weigh up the pros and cons.

In over 3 decades in the field of plastic surgery, I know of no operation with such high degree of satisfaction - Breast Reduction. And, indeed, you look like you need a breast reduction. Although a physical exam will determine with certainty, your breasts are very large, dense, and placed on a small stature. You will create proportions, improve you exercise habits, be able to wear tight fitting clotting, look thinner and many more. So, find a qualified plastic surgeon and do it. Best of luck

This is a personal decision that you must make.  Most women undergoing breast reduction for the physical symptoms that you describe get a great deal of benefit from the surgery.  A consultation with an appropriately qualified plastic surgeon should give you the information you need to make the right choice for yourself.  Best wishes. 

so if you meet the criteria and can meet minimum excisions (to satisfy your insurance company), a reduction can do wonders.  BUT it will impact you ability to breast feed if that is important to you and you could lose sensation to your nipples in addition to the scars that you will have to accept.  If that is all good with you, schedule a consultation with a surgeon who participates with your insurance company for an evaluation and further information.

Liposuction only operation  May be the ideal compromise for a young patient before childbearing years and it would make both you and the family happy. Dramatically different then a major reduction and might get you down several cup sizes. You could consider a formal reduction at a later time in your life if you so choose. When doing your research make sure you find a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this particular variation of the surgery. Good luck.

you have provided, you would be a great candidate for a breast reduction.
 Just about everyone who has had a breast reduction says that it was the

pain and rashes would likely go away almost instantly.  You feel and look
much lighter as well.

I would highly recommend that you see a board certified plastic
surgeon for a consultation to get the information you need to make an informed
decision about breast reduction.  As for
your family, I would not argue, but rather bring a member with you to that
consultation so they can get the information as well.  They are likely worried about the risks of
surgery and after they find out that the benefits far out-weigh the risks, I am
sure they will change their minds.  If
you see a surgeon who uses conscious sedation rather than general anesthesia as
well as a rapid recovery technique, this may also help to ease their concerns.
