Is there anything that can be done to fix sunken eyes and creases under the eyes? (Photos)

Question

I had surgery 3 months ago on my lower lids and mid face fat transfer. I don't know what the surgeon did but I look terrible. My eyes are sunken in and now I have creases under my eyes I never had before/ my right eye is botched. Is there anything that can be done? The surgeon is trying to work with me but I don't know what he can do to fix what he did. I am devastated and have been stressed over this everyday. It's hard for me to look in the mirror without crying.

Revision lower lid surgery can be performed. Judging from your photos, it appears you can have fat transposition surgery to help smooth the transition from your lower lid to cheek. Also you would be a candidate for laser resurfacing. Best to see an eyelid expert.

Thank you for your question. There are a few things to consider in your situation. The first is that there is a variable absorption rate with fat transfer. So if you feel that your eyes appear sunken now due to too much fat, some of that volume will decline. Usually it takes about 6 - 12 months to realize results, and some studies say up to 24 months. Regarding skin creases, typically laser resurfacing works nicely for tightening the skin, and this is especially effective on the eyelid. I hope this helps, and I wish you all the best.
