How soon after lipo to the abdomen can I do Kybella?

Kybella is not approved for treating the abdomen and should not be necessary in this area after a liposuction treatment. If there was a tiny pocket of fat missed during liposuction, it could be an option for small pockets, but small touch ups are usually not done for 6–9 months after surgery. If you are asking about treating the submental fat under the chin with Kybella after abdominal liposuction, the answer is anytime. The two treatments are in completely different areas, so one should not interfere with the other.

Hi thank you for your question. Kybella is a great treatment for any remaining pockets of fat leftover after liposuction. You do need to give your body some time to heal however. It is advised to wait at least 6 months after liposuction before having any treatments done in the same area.

Kybella injections are given in areas such as chin and neck  or isolated areas of the body with small excess of fat deposits . Liposuction of the abdomen can be done and kybella injected into the chin fat at the same time ,I don't see any problem with that .. you'll have to repeat the kybella sessions into the  chin fat  after a month for a few more months. I don't recommend kybella injections to the abdominal fat after liposuction .
