For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Based on the photos, I would recommend submental and jawline liposuction to improve the contour and provide a youthful and well defined jawline. The side photos also shows a small chin so consideration should be given for a small chin implant. Good luck
Dear pancakesarentwaffles,Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
You need to do CoolSculpting first. It will cover more area and remove subcutaneous fat. After that fillers can be utilized to create a desired angular shape of the mandibular angle.
Thank you for your question. One of the main benefits of Kybella is that it is a permanat solution. Once the fat cells are destroyed under the chin, those cells can no longer store or accumulate fat. Once you have achieved your desired outcome, filler is an excellent way to contour the neck and jaw line. Please seek a board-certified dermatologist to determine if you are an ideal candidate.
Based on the photo, you are a good candidate for fillers. Once these are injected into the bone, they will give a more defined jawline and will greatly improve the contour of the lower face. Be sure to consult only with a board certified plastic surgeon and have an in person examination and discussion of your options to achieve your desired result.
It looks like you have submental fullness due to fat accumulation, which is best treated by Kybella or Coolsculpting, The latter is the preferred treatment in my office due to fewer treatments needed and less downtime. Good luck.
Kybella permanently removes fat from below your chin. Filler temporarily contours the jawline. A formal in person exam is warranted so it does not necessarily have to be decided before your consultation. The downtime, duration, expectations and reactions are far different between the two. Your trained and experienced doctor will guide you based on your exam, goals and finances. Sometimes the two procedures can even be combined.
Hi thank you for your question. Filler would be great in the jawline if you wish to have more definition. Kybella is a great treatment if you would like to reduce fat tissue underneath the chin. Based on the photos I would recommend kybella as it appears you have a very strong jawline already. However, it is always best to have in person consultation with a board certified injector. Best of luck!
For a double chin, InMode FaceTite with VASERlipo would give you the best result. With significant neck sagging you would need a facelift / neck lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). At the same time, I would recommend lasers (Fraxel, CO2, or Erbium) and microneedling RF (Fractora,...
Hi, thank you for your question! I would advise against using any offbrand Kybella product since it has not been approved as a safe or effective fat reduction method by the FDA.
No, there’s a high risk of damage to surrounding structures. It should only be injected in the preplatysmal fat. Consult with your doctor to know more.
