Breast implant and nose job

Question

I am planning on having breast implant revision with fat graft first than in 3/6 months do the rhinoplasty is it safe in terms of infection and CC risk and how to prevent it. Thanks

If your surgeon is aware of your plan and have approved this schedule, then it should be safe to proceed as long as your recovery goes well. If there is a complication in your recovery then you may need to delay the rhinoplasty.

I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others. Sometimes it is better to do elective procedures separatelly.

I would recommend combining the procedures to avoid two surgeries and two recoveries.  The breast surgery can be done first and then the rhinoplasty.

Thank you for posting your question here There are many factors that play a role on wether someone gets an infection or a complication after surgery so there is never a guarantee that it won't happen, but technically speaking you can do those surgeries together as long as concepts of sterility are maintained ( the breast augmentation done first , instruments kept separate...etc). The fact that you are planning on delaying the rhinoplasty part for 3-6 months after the breast augmentation makes it even safer.

I suggest doing the rhinoplasty first so there is no risk of contamination to the implants with the nose surgery.
