We allow our patients to resume Minoxidil 10-14 days following their procedure.I would check with your surgeon regarding his or her post-op instructions.
It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. Some doctors may say a week, others may say more than that. The correct answer is your doctor's answer since your doctor is the one who you trusted for your surgery.
Thanks for your question. We advise our patients to apply Minoxidil 20 days after the hair transplantation surgery. After starting you should go on for 1 year. This is very important.
Some doctors will say that minoxidil is safe to use immediately after hair transplant, while other will recommend waiting many weeks or even longer. I will typically tell my patients to wait approximately one week after transplant to start minoxidil, but each patient should discuss their specific post-operative care with their hair transplant surgeon. All the best,
It really depends on your surgeon and their particular set of post-op instructions, so I suggest you ask them. In most cases doctors recommend waiting from anywhere between two weeks to a month before resuming Minoxidil.
I usually advice to my patient to use minoxidil or procapil containing serum 3 weeks after surgery for supporting preexisting hair and regrowing transplanted hair.
As per a study conducted by Bohannon in 1989, Minoxidil can be started 5-7 days post surgery when the recipient area of Hair Transplant has healed. It decreases the shedding of transplanted hairs (Post-Operative Effluvium) & prevents further hair loss in around 80%-90% cases.
Thank you for your question. You can use minoxidil 4 weeks after hair transplant on the operated area. On the un operated area you can use minoxidil after 2 weeks.imagehairclinic.com
You can use minxoidil anytime after 2 weeks provided that all of the crust are off. Minoxidil has no value in stimulating hair growth

While it is possible that grafts in one area may not be as successful as those in another area, the most common reason for uneven growth in the first 6-9 months after hair transplant is that not enough time has passed. As the hairs mature over the first 12 months, the final result will become v...
I don't like the idea of anyone removing grafts that have scabs on them because we have published a paper in a formal medical journal, that when a person pulls off a scab (crust) from a recipient area in less than 12 days, the risk of losing the graft is very high. See the medical paper we wrote...
