Hello and thank you for your question. Based on the photos you provided, you are likely an ideal candidate for rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty can help refine your bulbous tip and lower the nasal bridge. It also appears that you may have a deviated septum, which rhinoplasty can also correct. A board-certified facial plastic surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty is the ideal type of surgeon to perform this procedure. Facial plastic surgeons have extensive training in enhancing balance and symmetry in the face through procedures like rhinoplasty. I recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced facial plastic surgeon who provides digital imaging, so you can see what you might look like after the procedure.

Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty, I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.

You have a long and deviated septum. The long septum pushed into the columella and this caused nostril asymmetry. There is also a bullous nasal type. When these problems are corrected, both. we get a smooth and healthy nose.

The photographs are rather limited, so a full set of facial photographs from all angles will be required to make a determination aboutHow best to proceed. A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump, straightening crooked nose, and refining the nasal tip and reducing the crooked columella. All of the incisions are placed on the inside of the nose. An alar plasty can accomplish narrowing wide nostrils. You will most likely require a septoplasty since there's a deviated septum present from the base view.

Every nose is different and unique to that individual. If the appearance of your nose concerns you enough to do something about it, it can be improved with a natural artistically performed rhinoplasty. What would be the best option and exact procedure would depend on an examination and discussion about desired outcome. Excellent results can be achieved with either a closed or open technique.

Keep in mind that following advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do based on limited photos without examining you, physically feeling your tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best interest. Natural appearing results need to be individualized and what is appropriate for one patient is not necessarily the best for someone else. I would suggest that you find a surgeon with extensive rhinoplasty experience certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and one who is ideally a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)  that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.
