hi i am 29 years of age a female with a very large nasal tip almost boxy and bulbous and looks like a large golf ball on my nose that i am very self conscious about and was wondering would a nasal tip procedure be suitable for me

While it is difficult to make a full assessment with the images provided, I can tell you that rhinoplasty is a good option for refining the tip to create a more proportionate feature. Keep in mind that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures. Choose an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who has the expertise and skill to produce the best possible result for you.

Nasal tips come in all shapes and sizes. It is important for the tip to best fit the gender, facial shape, body type and height as well as work with the nose's other features such as the bridge (dorsum) length and projection. And when there seems to be excess size to the tip, it is usually from large or over pronounced lower lateral cartilages. These indeed can be modified to a more ideal configuration via surgery.

You have thick skin and a bulbous tip. Tip-plasty will work well for you and can be done under local anesthesia. 
However, you will need to wear a splint for a while and might need steroid injections postop as well.

A Rhinoplasty could reduce the bulbosity of your nasal tip.
I think this is best done via an Open Rhinoplasty, as the tip can be refined by folding and suturing the domes, preserving more cartilage, and hence maintaining supports.

Hi,
It is very difficult to assess the nasal tip without a frontal view. However, based on your description, we Rhinoplasty surgeons do perform tip-plasty with rhinoplasty to correct bulbous nasal deformities. This is something that can be addressed in Rhinoplasty consultation. I suggest you look at the surgeon's before and afters in the office to go over your goals. Hope that helps!
