Question

I think I have sinus issues as a result of the asymmetry as well, always have seemed to have congestion and post nasal dripping on left side only. Cosmetically I have always hated my nose shape and size for my overall face, as well as how crooked it is. Would there be a way to improve both functional and cosmetic issues at the same time, and would it be a very complicated and costly rhinoplasty?

Hi @KMat! Thank you for sending your photos. You would be a great candidate for a rhinoplasty. You have a dorsal hump, high nasal bridge, and a boxy nasal tip. I would recommend a formal in person evaluation to check for a septal deviation by performing a nasal examination. You would be a great candidate for an open rhinoplasty to adjust the nasal bridge, deproject the nose, and create a cuter more defined tip. A rhinoplasty in my opinion is one of the most difficult procedures to perform. The skill, artistry, and technique of the surgeon will determine your outcome. In my practice, I utilize piezosurgery. Piezosurgery is a more gentle technique that allows for greater precision. Less bruising and swelling is common with Piezosurgery. In a typical rhinoplasty, a hammer and chisel technique is performed leading to more inadvertent fractures. I hope this was helpful! Best wishes, Dr. Nima!

Functional and Cosmetic Rhinoplasty go hand in hand. It is important for the nose to maintain function of breathing while having an aesthetic result. Rhinoplasty cost ranges depending on location and expertise of the surgeon. I suggest you go to a board certified facial plastic surgeon for a consultation!

From your photos, I note a high nasal bridge with a moderate hump, a broad nasal base, and a boxy broad nasal tip. The nasion appears midline. Your nasolabial angle appears satisfactory. There is no obvious septal displacement visible, but internal nasal examination is required to determine if it is the source of your sinus issues. 
You may consider undergoing closed rhinoplasty to lower and narrow the bridge, deproject the nose creating a gentle feminine curve, and to define the tip by removing "overgrown" segments of cartilage. Even if the skin is relatively thick, significant improvement can be obtained.
Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for in-person evaluation and discussion.
