I have always wanted a rhinoplasty but not sure if there is another treatment I can do that might complement my nose better such as more chin or lip filler. Or if getting a brow lift/blepharoplasty to raise my brows and make the forehead appear smaller/another procedure that would improve the balance of my face.
Answer: Reduction rhinoplasty Your nose can be made smaller to complement your facial features. Reduction rhinoplasty is the term used for making a big nose smaller. However it can have many components. 1. Large as in sticking out on side view. 2. Large as in big tip 3. Wide nostrils 4. Wide bones in the front view. 5. Dorsal hump making it look big. All these can be addressed together or separately depending on the individual situation. Your situation is mostly #1 Regards Dr. J

Answer: Rhinoplasty, lowering hairline Based on these photos, you may be a candidate for conservative rhinoplasty, depending of your goals. Regarding forehead, you appear to have high hairline and forehead; if that bothers you it is possible to lower your hairline by means of hairline brow lift. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in rhinoplasty is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: Surgical rhinoplasty vs. non surgical Yes, you would benefit from rhinoplasty but your nose has many attractive features. Something to consider before surgery, would be to have a "non-surgica"l rhinoplasty with filler to the upper portion of your nose or "radix' area. Many patients are so happy with filler, that they do not proceed to scheduling a surgical rhinoplasty. In the profile view, it appears that the radix is relatively low which emphasizes the projection of the tip. Raising the radix with filler will create better proportions that will de-emphasize the prominence in the tip. Filler can fairly easily be injected in the office and you may be able to achieve what your looking for without surgery.

Answer: Am I a candidate for rhinoplasty and chin implant? A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump, refining the bulbous nasal tip, and narrowing the bridge line. Consider placement of a chin implant for the recessive/ weak Chin profile, since placement of a chin implant can augment the chin forward for better facial balance and proportions. You do not need eyelid surgery brow lift.
