It is difficult to diagnose capsular contracture using only photos. If the right side is clearly firmer than the left, the right breast can be said to have capsular contracture. Otherwise, it is not capsular contracture. Capsular contracture usually begins within 3 to 4 months after surgery, and is unlikely to begin after 13 months. In the early days after surgery, the tissue is a bit tight, but it gradually becomes softer over time, but since 13 months have already passed, you cannot expect it to get any softer from now on.

It would be a good idea to see your surgeon. They would be able to better examine you to see what’s going on, since it’s difficult to give you an opinion on the information you’ve provided.

Based on your pictures, it looks like it’s capsular contracture. Consult with your original surgeon if possible.

At 13 months, you have finished doing any "fluffing" and are healed. Go back to your surgeon to see if a capsule has formed. Sometimes it can be treated with nonsurgical things like oral Accolate and external ultrasound treatments.

At thirteen months post op you are at your final result and further "fluffing" is not expected. It appears you may have capsular contracture. Visit with your surgeon for an evaluation.

Plastic surgery results are primarily based on two primary variables. The first for the procedure, and the second is how well the procedure was performed.
If you take a look at your breast in your preoperative pictures, you can see that they did not have an ideal shape to start with.
This means you were not an ideal candidate for getting ideal breast augmentation outcomes. This is why your surgeon up doing a lift on one side. Do you also had significant asymmetry to start with.
Capsular contractions typically create firmness around the implant, making the implant feel hard like a tennis ball.

13 months ago, you had procedures done to improve your small asymmetrical breasts. The photos now and your observations of scarring and some hardness need to be addressed by your plastic surgeon. There also now appears to be positional asymmetries of these implants on your chest wall.
I recommend that you return to your surgeon for a consultation and physical examinaton. You can then discuss your options for care.
