To start I have been contemplating getting a nose job for a long time because I hate how it looks when I smile, it looks too wide and from the side the tip looks weird. But besides that I hate how me cheeks look as well they look very rounded and chubby and I believe my chin is too small which makes my overall face look scrunched. I was thinking of getting a nose job and possibly a chin implant and buccal fat removal. What would be the best procedures to fix these issues?

Answer: Help! Hi! A nose job or rhinoplasty certainly would help make the tip more refined and fit you face better. Looking at your pictures it looks droopy when you smile because you have over activated “depressor septi” muscles which should be addressed during surgery. Unfortunately the buccal lipectomy doesn’t change the size of your cheek mounds. The buccal fat pad sits slightly below where your cheeks are where you smile. There isn’t much you can do to reduce the size of your cheeks but I have a feeling that if you had a thorough analysis you would find your cheeks are sized appropriately. Lastly to look at chin size and position you need to look at a true side view. From what you provided it doesn’t look like implants are necessary. Sometimes your upper jaw or maxilla can be retrusive and this cannot be fixedly with a chin implant. When you have a true side view and drop a line down from the lips, in a female the chinches should like 3-5mm behind this line.sorry lots of words but hope that helps! Sagar Patel MD
