Kybella brought out chin dimple, is this a side effect of removing fat from my chin? (Photos)

Chin dimples are a result of bone structure. The loss of fat in the area could propose further refinement of your chin dimple. It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. It can take 6-8 weeks with Kybella and you may have swelling impacting your results. For best results with Kybella, I recommend a combination approach with thermage, ultherapy, exilis. Fillers can be used to improve the shape of the chin. Are you talking about the cleft in the midline of your chin? Kybella does one thing: kills fat.  The results of Kybella are generally not seen for about a month, and are not final usually for 3-5 months.  The Kybella kills the fat and then your own immune system slowly rids your body of the dead fat.  My point is that 4 days is too soon to see a result of a "dimple" in the skin from Kybella.  There are injection techniques we can use to "carve out a 6-pack on the abdominal wall," so getting a depression in an area where it was injected is conceivable...but (again) it would not be seen for at least a month after injection.
My hunch is that you are being more focused on looking at your chin now than normal, and the swelling from the Kybella is accentuating the appearance of a natural dimple you have.  I recommend you give this a couple months to improve, and up to 5 months to see the final result.

Thanks for the question.    The dimple in your chin is due to the bony prominence of the mandible (jaw bone).  When the fat is treated with Kybella, the underlying bony structures can become more evident.   So, you’ve probably always had a dimple; now you can see it.
