I had a bbl on 4/18/18 so I’m 6 months post op from the second day I noticed this lumpy place under my belly button it would go down after compression but when I was out of compression it would swell larger again the doctor told me it was swelling but here I am 6 months post op and still here I need advice on what it is and what can be done to fix it please advise

Thanks for your question...It is hard to say without seeing you in person. I recommend my post lipo patients to start massaging aggressively for a smooth result. Yes, this can be improved. Seek out a lipo revision expert as these are more complicated than you can imagine.

Dear jdcrou14,I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction.  This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately.
The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. The revision can often be done under local as well.While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result.I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result.Daniel Barrett, MD

The lump you are describing could be scar tissue, excess fat and or loose skin. Did you get professional massages post op? Usually the professional massages take care of irregularities after liposuction. Unfortunately if it is scar tissue, massage will not really help this far out from surgery. If it is excess fat, then you may want to consider more liposuction. If it is loose skin, you may want to consider skin tightening such as RF or skin excision such as a mini or full tummy tuck. From your profile view, it appears you have loose skin above your belly button too.
