Performing a Brazilian Butt Lift and inserting implants at the same time is not recommended. Getting a BBL first and then implants later would be best.
Hello and Great Question. I appreciate the time you are spending researching this procedure. My name is Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel. I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, a Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon, and a Butt Augmentation Specialist.I do this procedure all the time, sometimes however I do recommend to do the BBL first them come back to do the butt implant. It is difficult to determine what would be best for you without photos to review. I would recommend that see you a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure. I hope that helps! Best of Luck!Matthew J. Nykiel, MD#CoreAestheticButt Augmentation SpecialistLiposuction SpecialistBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
The current recommendation is to try to minimize implant use when combined with BBL surgery however if an implant is needed, usually only a small implant is required to get optimal projection at the point of maximal projection. Best Wishes!!

Dear BrittE92,some plastic surgeons may want to split this into two operations depending on the time needed. Its best to see a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine your options and whether it would take too long, more than 4 hours, to do all.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
BrittE92 Hi there , Thank you for your Question The answer will be no , you can't combine the one and the other . Many surgeons, including myself, offer online virtual consultations where you send us your photos and we can estimate the cost. I, like many surgeons, also offer free consultations so that you can be examined and given the most accurate quote. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon who has done a ton of Brazilian Butt Lifts and has privileges to do this surgery at a local university hospital. This says his credentials have been checked out by fellow Drs. All surgeries carry risk, talk to your plastic surgeon and choose one wisely.
Hi dear, thank you for your question.Butt implants are not always the best option so a BBL procedure well done should be the right idea for your case.Hope this helps!Dr. Jimenez Toribio Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.
Hi. nI do not recommend the use of butt implants since all patients finally decide to take them out. So I only recommend Lipo + BBL.Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)Member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS)25 year experience
Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. ...
Thank you for your question. I disagree with your doctor. I have performed BBL’s on patients with similar body types and achieved great results. If you were my patient i would perform aggressive liposuction to the flanks, lower back, mid back and maybe even some off the abdomen. Butt do not do s...
