Can I have all of this filler dissolved?

Thanks for your question! The short answer is yes, you can have all the filler dissolved. The devil is in the details. The type of filler used, you mentioned it was HA which is good, but the type will determine how readily the filler will dissolve. Some newer juvederm products don't dissolve as readily. The dissolving process is an imperfect science at best, but does work and does normally require multiple treatments. I would recommend dissolving everything to start at zero. Maybe you don't want anymore filler ever? Maybe you want to try something different... Your call. Lastly, you didn't mentioned how recently you were treated with the PS, I would give it 2 weeks before you decide if you love it or hate it. Hope this helps and God Bless!Dr. Robb Jr.

It is difficult to make an accurate assessment and recommendations based on photographs alone. I recommend you seek repeat follow-up with your provider who can perform an accurate examination and discuss the best treatment options to meet your aesthetic goals. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be reversed completely in serial injections, as too much injection of the reversing agent has its own risks such as tissue atrophy. 

Yes, you can dissolve this filler, but it may take multiple injections. In addition, malar edema caused by dermal filler is at times much more difficult to eradicate than other areas.  Even with a dissolving agent, it may require patience and time to see full resolution.  Best of luck, Dr. Giordano

I am so sorry to hear about your experience.  HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase but it may take more than one session.  However, fillers are not permanent and should dissolve on their own. I suggest returning to the plastic surgeon for a second look and then determining which treatment would be best.

I am sorry you had this experience! Hyaluronic acid based fillers are able to be dissolved with hyaluronidase though it may take several injections, weeks apart for the full results to be apparent. Fillers are also not permanent and should dissipate on their own as well over 6-9 months after initial injections. I hope everything from here on out goes more smoothly for you! 

Sorry to hear your issue. Hyaluronidase fillers (such as restylane, juvederm, etc) can be dissolved but may require several attempts depending on the amount of the filler used. Their longevity is usually 6-9 months so ultimately they will disappear naturally as well. You should regain your previous look and then be sure to see a qualified and  board certified MD provider.

Thank you for your question. You are able to get the filler dissolved however you may find you need to attend more than once to have the entire amount dissolved.  The good news is you can return weekly for this. Going to a PS or a qualified dermatologist is definitely recommended so stick with the same PS or look at others and their reviews before any further treatment.

Hylase injecting is a relatively safe and simple procedure, but depending on the amount initially injected you can certainly continue to have regular follow up injections until you're happy with the final result.
