Is it normal to wake up feeling extremely cold after a Brazilian butt lift?

I am thinking of having a round 2 bbl after a successful first round, but wanting more fat reduction and slightly bigger shape. The worst thing about my first surgery was waking up in my room freezing, freezing cold. I was screaming, I thought I was dying. It was terrifying and I genuinely thought I was going to have a heart attack or something due to the extreme cold. Is this normal or did I react in a bad way? I'm terrified and I've never heard anyone have the same??

Thank you for your questions. Waking up freezing after surgery is complete normal after surgery this is due to drugs used as anesthetics for sure this symptoms it will be gone in the first hours after the surgery, you are not the only patient who had this symptoms after the surgery, but if you have any question talk with the surgeon and anesthesiologist before going to surgery. Keeping patients warm during surgery is the responsibility of the anesthesiologist. Hypothermia is a very real concern with any surgery done under general anesthesia. Liposuction is a high risk procedure for patients developing hypothermia because the patient is both wet and exposed. The physical work is quite laborious, and some surgeons do not like the temperature in the room to be high since they are wearing gowns and can sometimes get drenched in sweat doing the procedure. ultimately the anesthesiologist is responsible for keeping the patient safe and this includes making adjustments like covering the patients or keeping the room sufficiently warm. There are lots of techniques used by anesthesiologist an operating room staff to keep patients warm during surgery. there are table heaters and other patient warming devices that all modern facilities have in place.
Talk to your surgeon about your previous experience and make sure you also talk to the anesthesiologist before surgery that you had hypothermia during your first case and ask them to make sure they keep you warm during an after surgery. Keeping patients at an appropriate temperature is not only for patients comfort but also for patient safety. Hypothermia is dangerous and all medical providers try to prevent this.
