I had radioactive iodine treatment 8 months ago which triggered the eye problems buldging. The buldging is caused my inflammation behind the eyeball and I didn't know if my body would produce antibodies to the Botox and cause more inflammation to the eyeballs.

Answer: Injectables with Grave's Disease - Botox - Filler Yours is a very common question. Often times, with mild graves disease (thyroid eye disease), people suffer more from the cosmetic affects of the disease then the medical ones. Injectable treatment such as Botox are something I recommend very commonly for my patients with graves disease. There is no increased risk with Botox injection in your current situation. I also commonly use filler as an in office aesthetic solution for patients with graves disease, however people with recent information and activity should likely avoid filler treatment until their disease is stable. And even then, there may be some increased swelling with filler.
