Tingling sensation in forehead as Botox wears off - normal?

This is not typical for botox in my hands or with my patients.  It may be the muscle activity returning, but this typically is not a sensation you feel. I would consider speaking to your physician if you are concerned.  Best, Dr. Emer.

You should not have any side effects as Botox wears off. You should see your medical doctor if it persists. Fortunately, Botox does not produce many side effects and is very safe when used by an expert.

The tingling you are experiencing may be from the movement in your muscle returning to its prior state before Botox. It's been almost the allotted 3 months of Botox effectiveness, so you may need to have more injected.Thank you for your question.Kate Ross, MD

You could be experiencing this tingling sensation as the nerves start to work again. It's a sensation that I have had described to me by other patients. But for your first treatment to only last 9 weeks, I think what you may need in the future is more units for a longer lasting effect."This
