Uneven alar rim, nasal bridge & side profile not improved after septo rhinoplasty. Shall I proceed with third surgery? (Photo)

Question

I had septo rhinoplasty to correct nasal deformity /deviated nasal tip one year back.My current results are 1. Uneven alar rim #2.Nasal bridge is not lifted properly #3.No improvement in side profile. This was second nose operation (1st jun 22) last i had in the year 2015. Please guide.This is breaking my emotions. Shall I proceed with the third surgery?

Hello! Thank you for your question.From the photos you provided, it looks like your nostril have collapsed. Your tip is still droopy (even after 2 surgeries) and you still have a slight hump.I would recommend you a last revision rhinoplasty surgery to get rid of these issues. We will most probably need to use extra cartilage (from ear or rib) and external graft to reshape the nostrils.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling disappointed with the results of your septorhinoplasty.  In my experience, a revision rhinoplasty is possible.

Of course, an « in person » consultation is necessary to evaluate your nose.
