Hi I am a 25 years old male. I have a good physique but my abs are asymmetric, I have a 5 pack: i miss one of my upper abs block. Is it possible to create one fake ab block with filler /botox or something else? If it's possible how long will it last?
Answer: Abdominal etching A better option for you may be abdominal etching This is a form of liposuction that helps to define and contour a given area, in your case the abdomen. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: 6 pack with fillers Normally, I would advise against trying to create 6 pack abs with fillers but if you already have abs and want to accentuate them like in your case, it is possible to do that. Sculptra, Radiesse, or Bellafill would be the best products to use. Bellafill is the most permanent. You should find someone who knows what they are doing or else you will waste a lot of money and risk having it look ridiculous.

Answer: Yes and no In short- YES, it is possible to use filler to address the asymmetry and irregularity you are describing in your abs. That said, the most common dermal filler types for this purpose are composed of Hyaluronic Acid- these generally degrade about 12 months after injection, and are usually sold by the vial. So what you're describing could quickly become an expensive and recurring annual cost to maintain the results you're seeking. An alternative treatment to address what you want, is minimal abdominal liposuction/etching and fat grafting to help sculpt the more "normal" appearing 6 pack that you desire. Not only will the fat survive much longer (minimizing the need for annual repeat treatments), but the minimal liposuction used to obtain the fat can also help further define your abdomen and flanks and make the results look really impressive. This treatment can be done as a same day ambulatory procedure in the operating room, or sometimes even in the office under local. My recommendation is the abdominal/flank liposuction with fat grafting to sculpt the more normal appearing abs. Best of luck! -Dr. Donald Groves

Answer: Options for Abdominal Enhancement Procedures While the use of fillers or Botox for abdominal enhancement is not a common practice, there are some methods available that could potentially help enhance the appearance of your abs. These include a procedure known as abdominal etching or liposculpture, which can help create a more defined look by removing and reshaping fat in the abdominal region. The results of these procedures can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on various factors such as the specific procedure used, your body's response, and your lifestyle post-procedure.

Answer: Creating an abdominal six pack I developed abdominal etching back in 1995 and since that time I have treated many hundreds of patients with issues such as yours. I have seen many professional bodybuilders, who simply do not have the natural muscle inscriptions, which make the six or an eight pack. In patients who have some fat available anywhere on the body, I will use the fat to re-create the six pack. On the other hand in patients who have no fat available and are very lean, the creation of six pack is usually done with the use of Sculptra filler. Sculptra is a bio stimulatory filler, which creates very natural result, which lasts for a very, very long time. If necessary, Sculptra can be added as desired by the patient. The procedure is very easy and painless without any scars whatsoever. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
