Crepey skin around the mouth and neck. I'm only 53. Help! What procedures can help? (photos)

Based on your photos, I would recommend both a lower facelift/necklift and a fractional CO2 laser treatment of your entire face.  These two treatments will address the texture, tone, and droop you are wishing to improve.  A lift will tighten the jawline and improve the early jowling, as well as removing any fat under your chin while tightening the neck (platysma) muscle and skin.  The fractional CO2 laser will improve the texture and tone of your skin, for you certainly appear to be a good candidate for this treatment based on your apparent lighter skin tone.  Your recovery time would be 1-2 weeks, with the ability to put on makeup 1 week after procedure.  There should be only minimal post procedure discomfort requiring 3 days of mild prescription pain pills on average.  Both of these can be done on the same day and can be performed under local anesthesia and oral sedation, making it very safe and less stressful on your body.

It is best to begin by consulting with a board-certified surgeon in-person. The presence of banding down the front of the #neck, and, amount of excess skin and condition of your skin are among some factors which determine if you are a #candidate for #rejuvenating the neck. During an in-person examination, your chin will be evaluated along with the neck and jawline.

Thank you for your question and photos.You will greatly benefit from a face lift - this procedure will make your neck skin smooth and taught defining your jaw line. Dermabrasion or laser treatments can improve the skin around the mouth. You can also benefit from a lip lift. In our practice the treatment for peri-oral wrinkles is a mechanical dermabrasion. The depth of the  treatment can be controlled easily and has a good success rate. Treatment for the crepey skin in the neck is with a lower face and neck lift. For many examples, please see the link  and video below

The best solution for treating crepey skin in those areas would be an ablative laser treatment such as a Fractionated CO2 laser.  This will help improve the texture, tighten & smooth the skin for you.  Results are fairly dramatic and long-lasting, and the laser will involve about a full week of downtime in which you will need to stay indoors and keep the areas well-hydrated with Aquaphor.  I recommend seeing an experienced cosmetic dermatologist for this procedure.  Please be sure not to receive an aggressive treatment like this over the summer. 

It appears you would benefit from a facelift with some type of skin rejuvenation (peels/lasers).  The facelift and necklift would tighten and remove skin and tighten the neck muscles.  The skin rejuvenation would smooth out the texture of the skin for an overall more youthful appearance.
