Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Yes, it is not a problem to have your period during surgery. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Thanks for the questionBeing on your period should really not affect your surgery. If you have very HEAVY periods then the only issue might be blood loss. BBL, when done right doesn't have a substantial blood loss, but when you combine it with HEAVY bleeding from your period, it could be a concern. I would speak with your surgeon to see what they think. If your pre-op blood counts are good then you should be ok.Good Luck
There is a certain amount of blood loss with a BBL that is present but controlled. If your cycles are heavy and you have pre-existing anemia you may want to check with your surgeon to allow them to make he decision as to when they would prefer to do the surgery based on your labs and history of menstration.
