In 2016 I got gummy bear implants. They are high profile, round shaped, and I got 450cc placed under the muscle. I have since had 2 children and now I've noticed my breast tissue on the bottom is hanging off my implant slightly. I met with my original surgeon and he let me know the solution is to exchange my implants to 545cc as well as a full anchor lift. I letting him know I'd like to avoid a lift, and that I want a more natural slope than I have. Do I have any other options?

Answer: Explant w/Bellesoma Method If want a natural slope then you need to remove your implants. If you remove the implants then the skin will hang and you will need a lift. Most women do not like lifts because of the vertical scars associated with the traditional lifts. For that reason, an alternative was developed called The Bellesoma Method. The technique I recommend is explanation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%), and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: You'll need to face reality I'll be honest, but I know you'd agree: your breasts are not aesthetically pleasing in appearance. Although one could argue that your implants maybe sitting a touch too high (maybe not), your breast tissue is pendulously hanging off of the implant, and even if an adjustment to implant position was made this waterfall appearance would remain. Contrast that with your theoretical outcome after a breast lift: a beautiful mound shape with nipples sitting slightly above the horizontal meridian and pointing just above the horizon, with some fine scars. There is simply no contest here, your lifted breasts with the scars would be the crowd pleaser every time. Get that lift and get the sexy breasts you deserve!
