Filler is a great way to improve little dents after rhinoplasty. If the filler works well, then silicone can be placed to make the correction permanent. Be sure to see an expert injector for consultation.
Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. Unfortunately no, you actually have a VERY difficult problem to fix. You have an asymmetric "Inverted V deformity"- basically the outline of the lower edge your nasal bones is visible through the skin on your nose. This can unfortunately happen when a rhinoplasty is not done properly. There are certain maneuvers which can be performed during rhinoplasty surgery to prevent this- I actually perform these preventative maneuvers in all my rhinoplasty surgeries for this very reason. Filler would not be able to correct this issue, and would be dangerous to inject in these locations (risk of blindness)! You would need a revision rhinoplasty to properly correct your issue and to solidly reinforce the entire underlying framework to assure you get the BEST long term results. Anyone who tells you otherwise is doing you a HUGE disservice! Revision rhinoplasty is truly a surgery of millimeters- they are the most technically challenging procedures in all of plastic surgery! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading revision rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with revision rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps!Dr. Donald GrovesAesthetic Plastic Surgeon
Nonsurgical rhinoplasty is a great way to address minor contour irregularities of the nose temporarily. If your goal is to improve the appearance of your nose for a specific event or for a few years time, then nonsurgical rhinoplasty will give you a nice improvement. Keep in mind that for a permanent change, a revision rhinoplasty would be necessary.
Hey! So looking at the nose its always hard to tell on pictures/videos. Your left side looks like it is more indented than right side. Filler can help! It's a nice way of fixing indentations. The idea is it wont be the same as surgery but if your trying to avoid a full on rhinoplasty it might be enough to make you happy and thats all that matters! A proper filler to use for this is Volux, it is the thickest product on the market and can help fill indentations. It also last up to a year or even longer. I would schedule an appointment with a skilled plastic surgeon / Injector and have them take a look in person.
The short answer to your question is "Yes." The longer answer would include suggesting that you consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. The nose is not an region that should be left to the novice, inexperienced hands of an injector accustomed to treating simple smile lines with ordinary Juvederm or plain Restylane. The nose, particularly one that has undergone prior surgery, requires the skill and expertise of an experienced injector owing to best ensure both the safety and efficacy of the treatment. Hope this helps and best of luck.
