Crooked lips, nerve damage from fat injections to cheeks?

I had jaw surgery 3 months ago. Dr injected fat in my cheeks as well (cannula). Since then my lips are crooked when speaking. (left side) I can also see slight asymmetry at rest no asymmetry when smiling. I also have numb palate and no taste in my tongue + burning on the same side. EMG showed facial nerve damage (eye and mouth branch). please help. if this is from fat injection should it already resolve after 3 months? Im terrified it will be permanent.

I recommend following up with your Doctor about their recommendations for using a hot tub after fat grafting. I make my patient wait 4 weeks after a fat grafting treatment to go in a pool or hot tub. I also recommend prp and sculptra after fat transfer to improve final results. Best, Dr. Emer.

Leah.   I see what you mean, but you have not mentioned when you had the procedure.  If the asymmetry persists, it looks like you may need a revision, which is not uncommon. Talk to your surgeon. Good luck!
